Involving the Philanthropic and Corporate Community in Violence Prevention Planning and Action
The National Forum on Youth Violence Prevention (Forum) developed a guide to involving the philanthropic and corporate community in violence prevention planning and action. This guide is based on the experience of individuals directing citywide violence prevention efforts, philanthropic entities, the Working Groups, the cities in the California Cities Gang Prevention Network, and the Forum cities. The guide aims to make clear that any comprehensive crime and violence prevention effort requires the private sector as an essential partner to be successful.
