What is National Drug Facts Week?
National Drug Facts Week (NDFW) is a health observance for teens that aims to shatter their myths about drugs and drug abuse. NDFW 2014 will be held from January 27th to February 2nd. Through community-based educational events and activities, the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is working to encourage teens to get factual answers from scientific experts about the harmful effects and consequences of drug use on their brain, body, and behavior.
